THE EID DAYS


''Eid comes once in a year.'' It is a very special time for all Muslims. They love to celebrate it. It brings the message of happiness and love.

EID-UL-FITR

Eid-ul-fitr is enjoyed when the month of fasting is over. People are very eager to see the crescent on the evening of the 29th or 30th of Ramazan. They rush to the roof. When the moon appears. people greet each other.
The next morning everybody gets early. takes a bath and puts on the best clothes. A special sweet dish of this Eid is that of vermicelli. People send this dish to the near relatives. In fact, they share their feelings.
At about 7;00 A.M most men and grown-up children go to Eid Gah for the Eid prayers. This is the biggest assembly of Muslims in the year. People embrace one another as soon as the prayers are over. They share their pleasure. They express their love

EID-UL-AZHA

This is the second Eid. It is called Eid-ul-Azha. On this Eid scarifies of animals are offered to a god in memory of the scarifies of his son offered by Hazrat Ibrahim(A.S) Goats Sheep and Cows are slaughtered and the meat is distributed among the relatives. Poor people and beggars. This Eid is celebrated on the next day of the Hajj which is performed at Makkah. This Eid lasts for three days. All the Muslims regard these days.
